Welcome to North West Indian Head Start Coalition (NWIHSC)
The Coalition was founded to provide cost effective training to the Northwest Tribes. It is our goal to provide an opportunity for program staff to gather together to learn, share, and network our knowledge to enhance our skills, thus benefiting our children.
It is through our rich culture and traditions that our children are provided an opportunity to learn and grow into strong, healthy future leaders.

Dear Northwest Indian Head Start Coalition Tribes, Staff, Partners and Friends:
After careful consideration of the ongoing spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Northwest Indian Head Start Coalition Board of Directors have decided not to conduct our annual training conference August 3, 2020 in Airway Heights/Spokane, Washington.
Our Board of Directors have been monitoring the coronavirus situation with the health, safety, and well-being of our conference attendees in mind. We have arrived at this difficult decision after monitoring information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Washington State Department of Health, the King County Department of Public Health, and other public health authorities. Ultimately, the Board voted to cancel the conference to help protect our attendees while so much is not known at this time.
We will send out notification for our 30th training conference for 2021 as soon as arrangements can be made.
Thank you for your understanding and we pray you are safe and well.
